Cozy Avalon is a family-run handful of short-term stays in and around St. John's, Newfoundland — the easternmost edge of North America, where icebergs drift past in spring and the harbour wakes up to fog horns.
Why we started Cozy Avalon
We grew up on the Avalon and watched friends arrive in town and end up in cookie-cutter rentals that could have been anywhere. We wanted to do the opposite: a small set of homes you'd actually want to wake up in, hosted by people who pick up the phone when it matters.
Every listing is owned and turned over by us. The linens are washed in our own laundry. The coffee on the counter is from a roaster we know by name. If a lightbulb blows at 9pm we'll be the ones bringing you a new one.
